A portion of sales Thursday night at Joe’s Crab Shack were donated to the Tackling Autism Foundation to support the treatment costs for children with autism.  Foundation co-founders, Scott Jackson (left) and Ashley Jackson (right), know firsthand the benefits of these costly treatments.  Their son was diagnosed in 2007 and earlier this year graduated from Texana Center’s Behavioral Treatment and Training Center.  The Texana Board of Trustees Chair and Fort Bend County Clerk, Dianne Wilson (center) was one of the many patrons on the night.

 
Texana Center Receives $400,000 Challenge Grant Print E-mail

Texana Center recently received notification from The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation, Inc. that they had issued a $400,000 challenge grant towards Texana’s West Campus project. When this grant is matched, it will be applied to the challenge grant which was issued by The George Foundation for $1.5 million. Texana has already received a $250,000 matching grant from The Houston Endowment, Inc.

New Manager - Kate Johnson-Patagoc, M.S., BCBA -  a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.Texana Center is pleased to announce the appointment of  Kate Johnson-Patagoc, M.S., BCBA -  a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - as Manager of Texana's Behavior Treatment and Training Center.
