The 2009 Christmas in Rosenberg holiday festival will introduce a Holiday Card “art” project to be displayed throughout the event.   Local elementary schools were invited to participate in the first annual “Holiday Card Project” by designing and painting a holiday card to be prominently displayed along 3^rd Street.  Each participating elementary school will be provided with one 4’ x 8” sheet of plywood generously donated by McCoy’s Building Supply in Rosenberg.   Five Lamar Consolidated Independent School District schools have committed to participating in the project: Bowie Elementary, Dickinson Elementary, Huggins Elementary, Meyer Elementary, and Smith Elementary.  To learn more about this project, call 832-595-3525 or write This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
